More than 3,500 employees on five continents generate sales of around 500 m€. The product range includes low and medium-voltage accessories as well as clamps, casting resins, and encapsulation compounds. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Managing and developing the company in the target markets, in alignment with the Strategic Business Unit / Regional  Leadership / Corporate strategy.
• Generating profitable growth and taking responsibility for the successful leadership and advancement of business activities.
• The director will supervise and steer all company's operations, people and ventures in order to maintain and grow business.

Your Education, background and knowledge:

• You have a degree in engineering with business experience or a degree in business administration with a strong technical background.
• You are a pragmatic leader accustomed to working in medium-sized structures and are willing to get involved operationally.
• Have solid experience in operations and business development and are looking to step up to a new challenge.
• You have relevant leadership experience in organizations with a similar size as well as a proven P&L track record in the range of 10-50m€.
• Equally, you are familiar with the requirements of operating within the framework of an international corporate group in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel in Germany and to the European Headquarter from time to time
• Excellent knowledge of German and English, with additional language skills a plus
• Leadership & coordination abilities of cross functional teams
