For the European headquarters near Lyon, France, we are supporting the search for a newly created position of the

Main duties:

• Your responsibilities include managing all relevant external and internal reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards, as well as analyzing key figures and implementing potential improvements.
• You are responsible for establishing and maintaining financial controls and for reconciling all bank and cash accounts. This involves identifying, developing, and monitoring KPIs.
• Manage commercial areas including, but not limited to, controlling, treasury, and commercial legal affairs.
• Liquidity management, including control and optimization of payment transactions.
• You serve as the primary point of contact for accounting and tax matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as departments of the parent companies, auditors, tax consultants, banks, insurance companies, tax authorities, and government agencies.
• Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Develop strategic plans for financial operations.
• Manage current accounting software (Wavesoft) and oversee planned transition to MS Dynamics 365.

Experiences / Skills / Personality / Education:

• A minimum of four years of progressive experience in a Controller or Senior Accountant role.
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data effectively.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, a high level of decision-making capabilities and implementation skills.
• You are a highly effective networker and team player with excellent communication skills, a serious, positive, and proactive attitude, a high level of flexibility, and a strong focus on goals and results.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or similar, CPA resp. expert compatble or similar.
• Business-fluent English and French.
